Piedmont Fall Opera

La bohème, the passionate, timeless, and indelible story of love among young artists in Paris, can stake its claim as the world’s most popular opera. It has a marvelous ability to make a powerful first impression and to reveal unsuspected treasures after dozens of hearings. At first glance, La Bohème is the definitive depiction of the joys and sorrows of love and loss; on closer inspection, it reveals the deep emotional significance hidden in the trivial things—a bonnet, an old overcoat, a chance meeting with a neighbor—that make up our everyday lives.

Piedmont International University is happy to provide free tickets to Students, Faculty, and Staff  to the following two performances: Wednesday night, October 24th  7:30 (this is the final dress rehearsal, during Intermission, you may hear the director & tech crew finalize settings; the advantage is that there is OPEN SEATING-  you can choose your own seat!) and Friday night, October 26th   8:00 (this is the opening night of the opera; our seats will be assigned & will be in the balcony.)

This is a dress-up affair~ come and enjoy an evening of culture & music! You must sign up for tickets in Student Services by Friday, October 19th at 12:00 Noon.
